Safedem carried out the demolition of Knightswood Hospital to clear the site for development.
A traditional demolition job comprising asbestos removal, soft stripping and salvage operations, and mechanical dem olition of various wards, administrative and associated structures.

The 14,000 tonnes of hardcore materials were crushed, and, under the supervision of the project engineer, utilised as consolidated fill to voids and to level the sloping site.
Safedem also carried out civil engineering works in preparation for the following development.>
